Abengoa is an international technology company whose primary activity focuses on sustainable development in the infrastructure, environment and energy sectors. Their new headquarters was designed by award winning British architect Richard Rogers and achieved the LEED Platinum certificate, the highest rating possible for environmentally- friendly structures awarded by the Green Building Association. The Architect has used a central space to connect all seven buildings, whilst at the same time creating a sequence of discrete spaces, each of which has slightly different characteristics. The organisation of a variety of additional outdoor spaces aims to reduce the heat load on the building fabric. 10,000m2 of glazed and solid Clestra Hauserman pleinAir partitions blend perfectly with the aesthetics of this outstanding building and contribute to the quality of the working environment both acoustically and visually.
